PlaneShift has been an incredible journey through the years and will probably be always in constant evolution. We decided to enroll PlaneShift on Steam as "Early Access" because we know that there are still many areas to refine, improve and expand. At the same time we think the game is already enjoyable as it is, and we may use a bit more exposure that Steam can provide. Be ready for new players, new comments, new reviews, new requests, etc... The game on steam is the same one you download from our website. We have released there the game for Windows, Linux and Mac. Let us know if it works as expected. Enjoy!
