We have updated the races descriptions and skills. Some restrictions/bonuses were added to balance the game. More changes will be probably made in the future when we will have the chance to test combat.

We made also a small update to the economy page.

Connect to irc.gamesnet.net on port 6667 and channel #planeshift.

I know that many are asking for a new board and we are trying to find a server that can host it for free. If you can host it on your servers please contact us! The board will require php and mySQL or DB_File package.

Our organization is changing to reflect the new concepts described on the recruitment page. The Team page is now up-to-date with new titles. Check it in the Help-Us! section.

Some news about the first demo:
- You will have only a limited set of races to choose, because we are still creating the 3D models for other races. The races available will be StoneBreaker Dwarf, Enkidukai, Ynnwn. One more will follow.
- You will have the ability to create your character off-line and test all the combinations of stats/skills before sending it to the main server.

Hi everyone, do you want to know what's happening behind the curtains? Here's an update of our progresses.

All the team if focused on our first demo, that will be available before end of year. This demo will show some of the CS engine's power and features. There will be two downloadable versions: one for Windows platform and another for Linux.

More info on the content of the demo will follow in next days.

- The PlaneShift team wants to express the pain and grief for the incredible loss of lives that US suffered. We are shocked for this terrible event and we pray for souls of US friends.

Humanity is trying everyday to fight against HIV, cancer and other terrible diseases, everyone tries to improve technologies and knowledge so we can have better lives: this is the only goal, peace.

We are back with good news!

- We have added our first screenshot to the "Pics" section!
- We have added the artwork for the Klyros race in the "Pics" section.
- Check the "Help Us" section, you will see how our team is growing.
- The 3D area is making good progresses and soon we will have new characters in the game.

Here a list of major improvements:

- A lot of work has been done on the rules section: magic system has been improved, weapon types are defined, weapons descriptions are more detailed, we introduced new skills.
- The character creation is progressing well, it will be run on the client and then the user will have the choice to save the char on the server with a rules check.
- We now have some player models and some monster models, our 3D team is working at their animations.
- We are working on the treasure randomizer that will create magical items, weapons, rings, staves, etc...
- We are building the basic functions of our multiplayer server.

Hi everyone, it's time to give you some news on the project, because in the last two months we achieved many goals:

- Our organization is now well structured, we have talented contributors in every area and we are making good progresses on the development.
- We had many contacts with the CS Team, that is supporting our project. With them we managed to improve the 3D importers and other features that we need.
- We are actually working on the Temple of Laanx and the surrounding areas, every department is focusing on that to produce a playable area that will be used as a first demo.
- We are also reviewing the rules of the game, the magic system and the character creation screens.
