Known Bugs
Here is a list of issues that are present in the
current demo. Before submitting a bug please read the list below.
Version 0.2.006
Bugs:
If PlaneShift Client asks about MSVCP70.DLL, get
it here and copy it into your
c:/Windows/system or c:/Winnt/system32 dir.
B1) Sometimes strange bright colors show up on
polygons in the city
(especially during day)
B2) some polygons aren't shaded properly
B3)there's a lag on the moment it starts to rain/thunder sound
is loaded
B4) if you walk inside or outside the tavern, the temple, the
tower or the
library you disappear partly when going through a door
B5) camera goes through walls in 3rd person mode
B6)there's some floating barrels around in the city
B7)you can walk through certain barrels and crates in the city
and chairs in
the temple
B8)the greeting animation sequence is played very quickly
B9) on very steep slopes (like the one in the dungeon) you sink
into the
ground
B10) some lanterns don't go on when it gets dark
Version 0.1.004
- Someone reported that there's no sound on the game! You can
enable sounds modifying the file psclient.cfg located in planeshift
main dir. Just remove the ';' at the start of the System.PlugIns.iSoundRender,
your file should look like this:

Version 0.1.003
- If the first connection attempt failed you have
to restart the game (exting with Quit button and starting it again)
or all other attempts to connect will fail too.
- The collision detection fails when the network is slow and some
players are connected. That results in the ability to pass through
walls or to fall through floor.
- On some machines the character upload fails. We have not yet
identified the problem, but we are working on it.
- On some machines the loading of the world takes a lot of time
(from 20 to 50 minutes). This is a bug because on other machines
with similar hw and connection it takes 2 minutes.
- The iron gem in the main menu should bring to the credits page,
but it doesn't work.
- Using ALT-Tab caused the game to crash.
